The parkour movement is taking in Spain. Whilst in this captured moment the “traceurs” are doing acrobatics and not parkour, they are generally considered to be the same thing (like the difference between comic books and graphic novels).

Pedraza is a tiny village (Population 481) in the province of Segovia (Castilla y Leon) about 120km from Madrid. Apart from having a good reputation for being a great place to eat in they are well known for an anual candle festival (La Noche de Las Velas) they hold. It consists of of turning off all lights in the town at night and lighting up the streets, doors and windows with thousands of candles during the first two Saturdays of July.

The locals do use artificial lighting inside their homes but shut their windows tightly so as not to spoil the effect from the outside.
