Coldplay played in Barcelona back in September in the Olympic Stadium. The music was really really great, but the technical issues they were having with the sound (Speakers weren’t working properly) kind of made it feel like a rip-off, especially since the tickets cost so much. The photos were taken with my iPhone at a great distance from the stage (sorry).

The Prodigy rocked Madrid on Friday. As usual with these big-shot events, SLRs aren’t allowed inside so I didn’t bother trying to take it (the photo above was taken with my iPhone). Most of the music they played were from the old collection… which I appreciated since it’s what I most recognise and like from them

I went to school with a guy called Sala Elassir, he was a few years elder to me but at the same time he was younger than my sister so although I knew him from seeing him around school, I didn’t quite know him personally.
Fast-forward some years and I found out he has become a musician! He went off to study in the USA and lives between London and Madrid. He was coming by Madrid to do a gig and decided I would check it out without listening to his music on his website.
I was pleasantly surprised His music is catchy yet not too campy, it was refreshingly different (Sala, i’m still waiting for my bribe money..)
He is going to play in the upcoming Spain-Argentina pre-game event on November 14th (Half time) so if you can, do check it out on tv
