Regalo de Roscón (by hitkaiser)

Happy Three Kings Day! For those not familiar with this day, it’s when “the 3 kings of the east” visited baby Jesus and gave him some pressies, it’s when most Spanish kids get their main presents (yes on the 25th of December as well since Coca Cola made Santa popular). Apart from presents, people eat a Roscón de Reyes which is a special type of cake inside which there is a hidden present. This year my sister got the present (pictured above). It is traditional is for the person who finds the present to pay for the cake.
See 2007’s Roscón present.

Nah, we don’t follow that ;) We have our own little tradition: Parents buy the roscón and the kids pig out :)
